Most small businesses start out doing the books themselves. The problem is that accounting is a job in itself, and the owner's time is already committed. Employing a full-time accountant, meanwhile, adds insurance, recruitment and training costs on top of a salary.
Outsourcing costs less than either, and brings one more advantage: the party keeping your records also watches the filing calendar.
Most penalties aren't about not knowing
In our experience, most penalties come not from misreading a complex rule but simply from missing a date. Whoever takes on the accounting takes on the calendar too — that's the real gain.
We review the state of your existing records and close any gaps before the handover.
